In episode 3 of "Chainsaw Man," we see the dynamic between Denji and Power as they are reprimanded by Makima for their reckless behavior during a mission. Power blames Denji for ordering her to kill on sight, while Denji argues that she acted too soon and didn't give him a chance to cooperate. Makima warns them that the team will be disbanded if they can't work together.
Power and Denji then have a heart-to-heart conversation, during which Power reveals that she has a pet kitten named Meowy who is being held captive by a devil. She offers to let Denji fulfill his dream of fondling a girl's breasts if he helps her rescue Meowy. Denji, who had been indifferent until now, suddenly regains his enthusiasm and sets out to rescue Meowy.
However, when they reach the dilapidated building where Meowy is being held captive, Power turns on Denji and hits him with her blood magic, knocking him unconscious. She then drags him to the building as a sacrifice in order to get Meowy from the devil. The devil accepts Denji's blood, but betrays Power's expectations and eats Meowy instead. The devil then tries to fly away, but is attacked by Power, who is also eaten.
Denji regains consciousness and attacks the devil, ultimately killing it in an epic action sequence. Despite being mistreated by Power, Denji doesn't hesitate to save her, showing his willingness to give people second chances. The episode ends with Denji and Power bonding over their shared experiences as fiends.
Overall, "Chainsaw Man" episode 3 continues to build upon the intriguing story and dynamic characters established in the first two episodes. The action scenes are intense and the character development is fascinating to watch. Fans of the series will no doubt be excited to see what happens next.
