‘Chainsaw Man’ Episode 10: Recap And Ending, Explained: Why Did Power Betray Denji?

"Chainsaw Man" episode 10, titled "Bruised & Battered," continues to follow the story of Power, Denji, and Aki as they navigate the dangerous world of devil hunting. In this episode, Power and Denji are taken to Kishibe, who claims to be the strongest devil hunter, to train them in fighting. Meanwhile, Aki is undergoing treatment at a hospital and is visited by Kurose and Tendo.

Kishibe reveals to Power and Denji that Power is half-immortal while Denji is immortal, and he starts training them by killing them multiple times a day in order to make them instinctively good fighters. This is a shock to both of them, as they have never been trained in this way before. However, as the episode progresses, they start to get used to it and even make a plan to try and take down Kishibe in their next training session. Unfortunately, their plan fails and Kishibe easily defeats them.

At the hospital, Aki is struggling to come to terms with the massacre that occurred at the Public Safety Devil Hunters. He is in a state of shock and remains quiet after learning that most people were killed. He is visited by Kurose and Tendo, who inquire about his plans to continue working at the Public Safety Devil Hunters. When he confirms that he is determined to continue, they inform him that a woman wants to see him.

The woman who visits Aki is Himeno's sister, and she hands him a letter written to her by his late teammate. The letter contains messages about how much Himeno cared for Aki and how worried he was about his job at the Public Safety Devil Hunters. This revelation comes as a shock to Aki, who is still grieving the loss of his friend.

After being discharged from the hospital, Aki is taken to a facility where the Public Safety Devil Hunters are keeping useful devils. He forms a contract with a powerful devil and starts training with it in order to become stronger and better able to protect himself and those around him.

In the end, "Chainsaw Man" episode 10 shows the characters struggling to come to terms with the events of the past and the challenges they face in the future. Power and Denji are dealing with the harsh reality of their training, while Aki is trying to move forward after the loss of his friend. Despite the challenges they face, they remain determined to continue their fight against evil and protect those around them.
