‘Chainsaw Man’ Episode 1: Recap And Ending, Explained: Does Denji Find His Place Eventually?

This makes Denji one of the few fiends who can fight the devils without being completely possessed.

In the climactic ending of episode 1, Denji transforms into the Chainsaw Man and kills the fiends, including their boss. He is only brought back to his human form after being contacted by another human, Makima, who recruits him into the Public Safety Devil Extermination Division.

Overall, "Chainsaw Man" episode 1 sets up an intriguing and action-packed story with complex and well-developed characters. The animation and character designs are top-notch, with the gory fight scenes being a standout.
