
Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War: A Review of Episode 2

The second episode of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War, "Foundation Stones," reveals the complicated connection between Hueco Mundo's Arrancars and The Quincy's Wandenreich. As a quick recap, the first episode introduced new characters such as Shino Madarame and Ryunosuke Yuki, as well as new antagonists, Yhwach and members of The Wandenreich, Ebern and Luders.
At the start of episode two, Yhwach kills Luders and Ebern after they fail in their mission to defeat Ichigo. Later, it is revealed that Yhwach has been using Arrancars as the front-line members of The Wandenreich, and their deaths serve as a reminder of The Quincy's hatred for Hollows and Arrancars. Meanwhile, the Soul Society is on high alert after the Wandenreich attacks Squad One, killing all of its members. A cremation ceremony is held for Lieutenant Sasakibe, and when Ichigo arrives, he is tackled by Nel Tu, an Arrancar, who asks for his help to save her friend Dondochakka. Ichigo agrees, and with the help of Urahara, they go to Hueco Mundo to rescue Dondochakka.
Overall, the second episode of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War continues to build on the events of the first episode and further develops the relationships between the different characters. The episode is full of action and reveals important information about the story and its characters, leaving fans excited for what's to come.
